Nice to Have Some Things Go Smoothly

I walked over to my mechanic's shop this morning to collect my van. The more-urgent fix (replace starter motor solenoid) is done, but the other one (replace rusted-out cooling hose bracket) requires a part that's on order and my mechanic said I could go ahead and get the van back until the part arrives, which will take a few days. When I went to pay, he told me to hold off and he'd charge me for it all at once after he does the other repair. That's pretty nice of him. But that sort of service and trust is why I prefer to do my work with Fremont Wheel & Brake. Judging by the number of cars parked around his shop, he's not hurting for work, either.
