I try to go out for a short walk around the block each morning here at Fernley House. (This is partially because my computers take forever to boot up and I hate waiting around for them, and partially because I need the exercise.) There was light rain falling this morning, and the rising sun peeked through the clouds on the eastern horizon for about five minutes forming another rainbow over Fernley, but this one's destination was particularly special to me. The camera-phone snap really doesn't do justice to this image, which was much brighter in person. The end of the rainbow here is sitting right on top of the part of the house that will eventually become my office. I hope this picture is a sign of better days ahead for us.
