Blinding Time

This afternoon I have my annual diabetic eye exam, which means pupil dilation, which means I'll be offline for a fair bit of the day until sometime this evening when my vision returns. I shall go do things that don't need fine close-in vision, like maybe go do my laundry or get a haircut. Having already logged 30 hours as of COB yesterday at Day Jobbe, I'm not too worried about being considered a slacker for leaving after lunch, although of course the real problem is that people want you to be available when they want you, not when you're actually available. I try to oblige, but I can't give them 24/7/365.
