No Foolin

I sometimes itch to write an April Fool post about things with which I'm well associated, but I've generally decided that people take me too seriously, and that I'd rather not do harm to things I love by doing a hoax that goes haywire, like apparently Google's Gmail "mic drop" prank did today.

It may not be obvious, but I do have a sense of humor, but it can be sufficiently deadpan at times that people will take me seriously when I'm intending it to be a joke.
