Halloween 2017

With Halloween falling on a Tuesday this year, we weren't going to do a whole lot, but after I got off work today, Lisa, [personal profile] travelswithkuma, and I got into our "WSFS Ground Crew" uniforms and went out to dinner.

Halloween 2017

We went to the Black Bear Diner for dinner, and after eating our fill of fish and chips, prevailed upon a passer-by to take our picture at the fountain that separates the restaurant from the adjacent Nugget Casino.

After dinner, Lisa played slots for a little while, and won a little over $8. She points out that she needs to win $12 more to get back to even, since she lost $20 last time we were here.

We went over to Walgreen's and Scolari's grocery store and picked up a few things, garnering a couple of appreciative comments about our matching trio of costumes.

There were Halloween events here in Fernley to which we could go (and more in Reno/Sparks), but my hours just don't permit it, so we were back home before sunset. It's not likely that we'll have any trick-or-treaters, as we've had none in the six years we've lived here, but we got some candy anyway, including some sugar free stuff, so that we have stuff we like from anything left over.
