That storm slowed down as it moved into California, so as it happens, if I'd pressed my luck and stayed another day in the Bay Area (and could have thus attended a party to which I was invited last night, I would have been able to get home ahead of the snow. But I am not complaining. I probably needed today to rest from the trip. These drives don't seem to get much easier. With what is supposed to be a regular work week ahead of me, it's best to not be too worn out before starting.

I could easily get used to only working four day per week, though.
