Chipmunk on the Walk
I mentioned yesterday that I spotted a chipmunk near the house. This morning, after a walk around the block, I stirred up that chipmunk, who ran away from me, under the front gate, over the porch, and then under some pallets we have piled up awaiting reduction to firewood.
I managed to get this photo of the chipmunk after I came back into the property and startled it out from under the pile of pallets.
Once its way was clear, the chipmunk headed for the cover of the junked car across the street. I wonder where it will go after the city hauls the heap away in a few days?
