Made It In Time

I heard on the news this morning that IcelandAir is discontinuing service to SFO at the end of this year. Given how lightly loaded our flights to/from Reykjavik from SFO were this last August — most of the back third of the main cabin was empty — I can't say that I'm surprised. Still, that means that should we want to do the stopovers we did on our last two trips to Europe on a future trip (say the next European Worldcon), we'll have to go through one of their other gateway cities, which adds a lot more complexity to the trips.
