I attended a couple of panels at the virtual NASFiC today, spent much of the day "staffing" the Tonopah Westercon table (I could share photos, maps of the convention center, and so forth on Discord), and then this evening I joined the parties. In this case, I ended up spending the entire evening at the Memphis in 2023 bid party, where there were some excellent discussions, including I hope us getting some insight into ways we fail in socializing people attending their first Worldcon or NASFiC. Whether we can ever get better, I don't know, but it was a good multi-way discussion, and I'm glad that I was part of it.
One more day of the truncated and online NASFiC tomorrow. I'm glad that they were able to put together this event.
