
This would have looked better if I'd brought my phone with me so I could have taken this photo with the rainbow anchored on the foothills of the Pah Rah Mountains instead of the steel truss factory across the railroad tracks.
It never did rain again. The storm dropped most of its power in the Sierra, where Interstate 80 was closed much of the night, and mostly petered out (except for cold wind) by the time it produced that rainbow.
