
This year we bought a ham from Raley's, which Lisa served with sauteed baby portobello mushrooms, some nice biscuits from Whole Foods Market, and corn that I heated on the wood stove, along with Martinelli's sparkling apple-grape juice.
It was an excellent meal, with a lot of leftover ham, and that's not a bad thing. Indeed, this morning, I started working on using the leftovers by making a ham and cheddar cheese omelette.
