Burning On Up

Lisa tackled cutting up another couple of pallets today as I burned the pallets and the odd bits of cord-wood from yesterday. It was slow going. One of these pallets looks like it's more nail than wood, and breaking it down by hand takes a lot of work. But it's (notionally) free wood and it does produce heat, which is good because the temperatures are well below freezing overnight and not especially warm during the day.
