Snow Day

Not Quite Totally-Dry February

It took an extra day and almost all of that, but we did not quite go through February with no precipitation at all. About 10 PM last night, I looked outside and could see a few tiny flakes of snow falling on the front porch. Although the weather forecast suggested 5-10 cm accumulation was possible, we got a lot less than that.

I went up and had breakfast at the Wigwam, and won my breakfast back on the free-play coupon for the first half of the month. I was tempted to keep playing but decided not to press my luck beyond the $16 I'd won playing blackjack.

There are Westercon 74 tasks I wanted to do today, but the weekend mail brought me multiple things I need to resolve on both my mother and sister's estates, so letters need to be written to try and close out more loose ends. I sometimes wonder if I'm ever going to be able to close the files on the three estates for which I'm responsible.
