New Year Recovery

Lisa and I attended parts of an fans-around-the-world New Year's Eve party. We joined in between Paris and London's NYE, and except for a period where we logged off to have dinner, stuck around until after 2020 was well and truly done in the Pacific time zone (which includes most of Nevada, apparently much to the surprise of many people attending the party). It was nice to see people we haven't seen in quite a while. Unfortunately for me, as I'd started my day at my normal 4:30 AM PT start time and had not taken a nap in the afternoon, by the time we got into the year 2021 I was pretty wiped out. On a typical working night, I am typically in bed by 9 PM at the latest. I slept in considerably on the 1st, but even then I didn't feel recovered, and I fell back into bed around 6 PM and slept for more than twelve hours! I'm feeling much more human now. There wasn't a lot for me to do today, so I did a lot of nothing.
