Brain Rot

I spent most of today head-down on a database programming issue with a rather tight deadline. I thought I might end up having to work all night, but I think I've got it done in only about ten hours or so. This is the longest stretch of concentrated programming I've done in quite a while. Most of the time I'm doing inventory troubleshooting, which also needs me to concentrate, but it's different from the state I have to work myself into to write code.

Still, it's just as well I had to work late, as there's still a chance that our second Pfizer vaccinations on Thursday will knock me off my feet on Friday.
