One Day or Another

One thing about working from home, as I've been doing for years before the pandemic, is that it's easier than I would have thought to lose track of time. This morning, I woke up at 4:10 AM and apparently thought it was Saturday, not Tuesday, as I was considered whether to get up or roll over and go back to sleep. (In general, if I wake up less than thirty minutes before my alarm is set to go off, I try to go ahead and get up and start the day, as I find that the small bit of extra sleep is rarely worth it.) Fortunately, I eventually realized what day it was and got to work.
