Painting Season
We don't have a whole lot more time to get paint onto those things that need repainting before it gets too cold to do so. The front porch looks like it will be okay for another season, so we'll leave it be for this year, but other things need painting, and Lisa started working on that yesterday.

Lisa put a coat of paint on the small woodbox in preparation for us moving it to its cold-weather location on the front porch. See this photo for what it looked like before she applied the paint but after she sanded it down to remove the old loose paint.

The rear patio deck got a coat of sanding sealer, with an emphasis on the areas where more water gets onto the deck and those places where her work to sand it down more smooth removed some of the wood preservative. This used up the last of the sanding sealer.
Lisa is considering whether to go get more sanding sealer and wood putty before she puts down the first coat of paint on the deck.
