In response to a question prompted by the close-up view of my minivan's mechanical odometer after it passed the half-million-mile mark, I took another picture of the entire mechanical instrument panel.
The word "quartz" appears below the speedometer needle, and no, I don't know exactly what it signifies.
Between the two of us, Lisa and I own four vehicles. The newest of them is the 1989 Ford E150 Chinook RV conversion. All of them have analog instruments.
