I was due for a haircut when we left for DC, but wasn't able to get in to see my barber during the short time between Loscon/Westercon and Worldcon. Had I realized that one of the businesses a couple of blocks from the Omni was a barbershop, I might have taken advantage of them, but by the time I noticed them, the convention was over and we were getting ready to head off on the next leg of the trip. So today I finally got an appointment with my barber. Yes, I know I'm running out of hair overall, but the back and sides were fluffier than I wanted. This is more comfortable. The marks on my face here are from the double-masking of a surgical mask with a D95 mask (an N95 with earloops rather than behind-the-head elastic) over it. As usual, when my hair starts to get as long as it does, I have to decide whether to get it trimmed back over my ears or let it grow out for that "Ben Franklin" look.
