Baby, It's Cold Outside
This morning's low temperatures made me that much happier that we bought all of that firewood yesterday.
Now that the storms have blown through, there are no clouds overnight to hold in any heat at all, so we're getting really cold by our standards, even though below-freezing temperatures aren't unusual in the winter here.
I kept burning enough wood to keep the house comfortable. It should start getting warmer in a few days. Meanwhile, an early night is indicated, because for reasons I'll explain tomorrow, I have to be up even earlier than usual.
