Getting the Program Online
The in-person and hybrid (mixed in-person and online) program schedule for Westercon 74 is now online. This is in addition to the virtual (online-only) program schedule previously announced.
Virtual programming will start each day of the convention at 8 AM Pacific Daylight Time. In-person and hybrid programming will start each day at 11 AM PDT.
Virtual and hybrid program items are open to all members, including supporting members. Members attending in person will be able to watch virtual program items in the Blue Room of the Tonopah Convention Center, which is the room where hybrid programming will happen.
Including kaffeklatches, autograph sessions, events (like the Opening and Closing Ceremony), and all in-person, virtual, and hybrid program items, there are just short of 100 items scheduled to happen at Westercon 74, spread between the Tonopah Convention Center, the Belvada Hotel (Nevada Club Room and Safe Room), Mizpah Hotel (3rd floor conference room), and Mizpah Club (Ballroom).
"What's the 'Safe Room?'" I think I hear at least one person ask.

It is a small room created in what was originally the safe of the Nevada State Bank & Trust, which is what the Belvada Hotel's building originally was.

Tearing out the safe was impractical, so when they rebuilt the building into a hotel, they left the safe in place and turned it into a small lounge that we will use for kaffeklatches.

Don't worry; the safe's door mechanism is removed so that you can't be locked inside.
All programming is, of course, subject to change.
