Yreka is home of the Yreka Western Railroad , which runs the "Blue Goose" steam excursions. I've always wanted to take this train, but never seem to have the time, and alas, this trip is no exception. They run one train daily, departing 11 AM and returning several hours later after a lunch layover at Montague. I can't hang around that long, I'm afraid. And for that matter, Lisa would probably be annoyed at me if I did the train excursion thing without her.
