Quiet Holiday in the Slush

Six more branches have cracked off the big tree in the middle of the field. We wanted to get out and haul the branches away, but the weather has been mostly cold rain and the snow is turning to slush in many places. Working in light snow wasn't so bad, but in a freezing rain is no good at all, so we put off any outdoor work until there's some sort of break in the weather. Lisa worked on Kuma Bear's Christmas gift and I worked on cloning a hard drive for one of Lisa's laptop computers. I've tried several times to run the clone, every time without success. Today I think if found the problem -- a bent pin on the source drive's connector. Lisa carefully bent the pin back into place and we'll start it up again. Maybe this time it will work.
