Kuma Bear Does the Happy Dance

travelswithkuma just saw the Westercon 63 Progress Report, and was very happy to see the full-page ad there for the Tonopah in 2012 bid. He has just posted information about the Tonopah in 2012 Bid T-Shirts that all Friends of the Bid will receive. There's a photo of him there modeling the t-shirt, and information on how to order a shirt in advance. Since we aren't going to make a lot of them, we would really like to know ahead of time who wants one. You don't even have to send us the money ahead of time if you promise to pick it up and pay for it at the bid's table at Pasadena.

Since voting will only be open on the Thursday and Friday of Westercon, the bid's only party will be on Thursday night, as we're renting the Con Suite that night. We hope to see lots of you there, and also could use help setting up and running the party there. I know Kuma Bear would appreciate the support. It's hard for him to carry things back and forth to the party because legs are so short.

As Kuma says on his LJ, money for the bid is handled through me. If you want to use PayPal, I have a personal PayPal account, but that means I can't accept credit-card based payments. (Personal accounts don't handle them.) Checks and cash work, too, although I know they're old-fashioned.
