Overnight Results

I left both of my laptop computers running full virus scans last night. One found nothing (hooray!) and the other found one medium-level threat.

One of the bugs that passed through last night reset the IE home page to an Arabic-language web site called (replace the * with r; I don't want to attract bots) a**ahmah.com. When Lisa saw the unwanted home page loading, she immediately unplugged the internet connection, and we proceeded to reset the home page on the affected machines. After all of the scans and disinfecting, the symptoms of this and the other bugs went away. Let's hope that got rid of it.
